Better Leads is a function that allows us to use leads in more ways than Vanilla Minecraft. This uses the lead item in the game.
Leashing Mobs
You can now leash most creatures in the game. If you are able to leash a hostile creature without it noticing you, they will become "tame" while leashed.
Hitching Posts
Like usual, you can hitch creatures to a fence post but now a couple things are different.
- Multiple players can attach creatures to one post, and if the creature has been tamed by a player only that player can unleash the creature. (Hostile mobs don't apply here.)
- When you leash a creature to a fence post, it becomes a "hitching post" and will keep the rope look even after you unleash your creature, until you break the post.
